The Royal Rumble matches are always some of the most exciting matches to watch, and it looks like WWE is bringing in some extra help for the Royal Rumble this year.
Fightful Select reports that WWE is bringing in independent wrestler Jason Cade to work as a producer at the Royal Rumble. It was noted that Cade will specifically be helping with the women’s Royal Rumble match.
Tyson Kidd was said to have been instrumental in bringing in Jason Cade, and he’s trained with Tyson Kidd and Natalya in the past. There’s no word as to whether or not this is a trial run for Cade or if he could end up landing a full time position with the company.
Jason Cade has not been an active performer for some time, but in the past he has wrestled matches on WWE Raw, NXT, 205 Live, AEW, ROH, IMPACT Wrestling, GCW, MLW, EVOLVE and he’s also worked with various indie promotions.
The Royal Rumble will air live from San Antonio on Sunday, January 28. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
