WrestleMania is without a doubt WWE’s biggest show of the year, and a lot of work goes into promoting the event. WWE sent out a list of banned words to their promotional partners last year for WrestleMania 36, and now the banned list has surfaced online.
Fightful Select reports that promotional partners were given instructions “not to reply to fans in the comments” and “not to speculate on rumors or future storylines.” Promotional partners were also instructed “to always represent WWE and talent in a positive light” and also to “be sensitive of the language used and how it may be interpreted by dirt sheets.”
The following terms were included in the banned list:

– Belt
– Strap
– Diva
– Head shot
– Trauma
– Kayfabe
– Mofos
– House show
– DQ
– The Anti-Diva
– Spinal injuries
– Victim
– Violence/violent
– Wrestling/wrestlers
– WWF
– Wifebeater
– Curb Stomp
– Needs a push
– To be over
– Babyface
– Heel
– To job/jobber
– Card
– Strangle
– Kill
– Murder
This year WrestleMania 37 will take place from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, the original location for WrestleMania 36, and it will air live on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11.
