You never know what’s going to happen when you tune into Monday Night Raw and this week’s show featured a huge main event. Bianca Belair & Naomi defended the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez, and it was Liv & Raquel who picked up the win to become WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions for a third time.
The main event was action packed, featured plenty of near falls, and it was clear from the reactions that the live fans were invested in the match as it was taking place.
PWInsider is reporting that WWE management was really happy with the live reactions during the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match. The feeling was that as a Raw main event the match delivered. According to the report the title change had long been planned as part of a bigger push for Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez as a tag team.
Heading into WrestleMania season it was reported that Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez were set for a push. There’s currently no word on who could be stepping up to challenge the champions moving forward, but for now Liv & Raquel have brought gold back to The Judgment Day.
