There have been a number of WWE departures over the last few months and now it seems that another name is finishing up with the company. Earlier today NXT General Manager Ava announced that Tuesday’s episode of NXT was her last appearance on the show.
Ava confirmed that she decided not to renew her WWE contract when she posted the following statement on social media:
“This past Tuesday was my last appearance on NXT & subsequently WWE. Thank you to all who have cheered, watched, and supported me through my journey. While my decision to not renew my contract was very difficult, it’s also a new turning point in my life. It has been an honor & a privilege to be Ava.”

Ava, real name Simone Alexandra Garcia Johnson, is famously the real life daughter of The Rock. She first reported to the WWE Performance Center in February of 2020 and she later went on to make her television on NXT in October of 2022 as a member of Schism. After Schism ended she went on to become the on screen assistant to Shawn Michaels and she was promoted to NXT General Manager in January of 2024.
