For weeks now the wrestling world has been talking about a rumored WWE premium live event for September and today the show was officially confirmed. WWE announced today that Wrestlepalooza will emanate from Indianapolis, IN on Saturday, September 20th and the show is set to air live on ESPN.

It was announced earlier this month that WWE premium live events will be heading to ESPN’s new streaming service in 2026 when WWE’s deal with Peacock expires. Now it seems that WWE and ESPN will be giving fans a little preview of what they can expect from their partnership.

The Wrestlepalooza name was previously used in ECW and first debuted in 1995. The name was last used in April of 2000. It has been rumored for weeks now that WWE would bringing the name back for the September premium live event.

As of this writing no matches have been confirmed for Wrestlepalooza, but it was recently reported that Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena and Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship are both expected to be added to the card.
