The coronavirus pandemic drastically altered the way the wrestling business operates, as WWE has been running most of their shows from a closed set for over a year now, but it looks like fans will be returning sooner than later.
It was recently reported that fans would be returning in July, and today the official WWE on FOX Twitter account confirmed that fans will be in attendance for the July 16th episode of Friday Night SmackDown at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX.
FOX has also been confirmed that WWE will be running a 25 city tour through Labor Day. The upcoming tour will kick off with the following three dates:
– Friday, July 16: SmackDown – Toyota Center in Houston
– Sunday, July 18: Money In The Bank – Dickies Arena in Fort Worth
– Monday, July 19: Raw – American Airlines Center in Dallas
Tickets for these three events are set to go on sale on Wednesday, May 26 at 11 a.m ET.
Additional locations and dates for the 25 city tour will be announced in the weeks to come. Stay tuned for updates.
