WWE Announces The Return Of King Of The Ring

King of the Ring was an annual event for quite some time, but it’s been a while since WWE has held the tournament. However, that’s all about to change as it was announced on Monday Night Raw that a King of the Ring tournament will be kicking off next Monday on Raw.

Cedric Alexander, Drew McIntyre, Ricochet, Sami Zayn, Cesaro, The Miz and Baron Corbin were confirmed for the tournament and Michael Cole also noted that 8 Superstars from SmackDown would be competing in KOTR as well.

The last King of the Ring tournament was held in 2015 and was won by Bad News Barrett who then went on to use the King Barrett gimmick.

Are you looking forward to the return of KOTR? Sound off in the comments below.
