Charlotte has been kicking down doors and smashing through glass ceilings ever since she walked into WWE almost five years ago. As a four-time Raw Women’s Champion and former NXT Women’s Champion, it seems that she has made the difference she wanted in the WWE.
With her recent move to SmackDown and the fact that she faced Naomi for the SmackDown Women’s Championship meant that the women were allowed to main event SmackDown this week.
This means that Charlotte has once again made history by becoming the first woman to main event Raw, SmackDown and a pay-per-view event. This comes as no surprise since it seems that WWE is pushing Flair towards what would be her fifth championship on the main roster.
Charlotte has been the measuring stick in WWE for a long time now and it seems that WWE wants to use her now to boost the SmackDown locker room after months of pushing Raw as the best women’s division.
It will be interesting to see if WWE allows Charlotte to become as much of a force on the SmackDown brand as she was on Raw and if the SmackDown women’s division finally manages to outshine their Raw counterparts with Charlotte at the helm.
