WWE recently confirmed that Randy Orton will be facing Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam and they’ve been advertising him for live events in August.
This week on Raw WWE announced that Randy Orton will be making his return to WWE programming at Battleground on July 24th. As of right now Orton isn’t scheduled to wrestle at the pay-per-view.
He will be making an appearance on Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel to talk about his big match with Brock Lesnar. Randy Orton has been out of action since late last year after he suffered a shoulder injury and had to undergo surgery.
Orton has been quiet for months, but he’s been doing interviews as of late hyping up his return and his match against Brock Lesnar. It looks like Orton could possibly be feuding with another top star after SummerSlam and you can get more on that by clicking here.
It was also announced on Raw that Darren Young will be challenging The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship at Battleground later this month.
