The Hardy Boyz returned to WWE at WrestleMania 33 and won the Raw Tag Team Titles, and the brothers are still the current champions. Sheamus and Cesaro challenged The Hardys for the titles at Payback a few weeks ago, and after they failed to win the belts, Sheamus and Cesaro turned heel and destroyed Matt and Jeff. Last week Sheamus and Cesaro won a Tag Team Turmoil Match to earn a shot at the belts, and they’ll be getting their title shot soon.

There’s a lot of bad blood between The Hardys and Sheamus and Cesaro right now, and they’ll get their chance to settle their differences in a few weeks. WWE has announced that Sheamus and Cesaro will challenge The Hardy Boyz for the Raw Tag Team Titles on Sunday, June 4th at Extreme Rules.
As we all know, nobody takes it to the extreme better than Matt and Jeff Hardy, and they seem more than ready to put their belts on the line at Extreme Rules.
Extreme Rules is a pay-per-view that’s normally stacked with gimmick matches, but as of this writing the stipulation for the match has not been announced. Although it’s worth noting that when The Hardy Boyz were informed of the upcoming title defense, Jeff said that he feels a no disqualification match would be perfect.
It’s also been announced that Jeff Hardy will be facing Sheamus in a one on one match on Raw tonight.
