The coronavirus has had a huge impact on WWE, and the company has had to make some major adjustments in recent weeks.
Vince McMahon held a call earlier today announcing that the company would be cutting some talents, and now WWE has announced that seven Superstars have been released.
WWE issued a statement confirming Drake Maverick, Curt Hawkins, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Eric Young, EC3 and Lio Rush have all been released, and the statement reads as follows:
“WWE has come to terms on the release of Drake Maverick (James Curtin), Curt Hawkins (Brian Myers), Karl Anderson (Chad Allegra), Luke Gallows (Drew Hankinson), Eric Young (Jeremy Fritz), EC3 (Michael Hutter) and Lio Rush (Lionel Green). We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.”
