Fans have come to expect big changes from WWE over the last few months and today the company announced new commentary teams for Raw, SmackDown and NXT. The commentary teams for each brand moving forward are as follows:
SmackDown – Michael Cole, Wade Barrett
Raw – Corey Graves, Kevin Patrick
NXT – Vic Joseph, Booker T
Fans may have noticed that Jimmy Smith is not listed as part of the commentary team and Smith confirmed on Twittter that he is done with WWE. Smith was originally brought in as a replacement for Adnan Virk in May of 2021, but it seems that his stint with the company is over.
Jimmy Smith posted the following announcement:
“Just wanted to say, now that the story is officially out, that my time with the WWE is officially done. Had a lot of fun and met some great people. Really and truly blown away by the acceptance from the WWE fans! You folks make it work every week and your enthusiasm was amazing!”
