The coronavirus pandemic has had a major impact on the professional wrestling industry, and numerous talents have tested positive for the virus over the last year or so.
This week it was confirmed that WWE Champion Drew McIntyre tested positive for COVID-19, and last year Kayla Braxton confirmed that she tested positive for the virus twice.
Braxton has had to deal with her fair share of negative feedback on Twitter, and after Raw she used the social media service to lash out.
Kayla noted that while she was at work she found out that someone close to her died because of COVID-19, and she sent a message to the fans with the following tweet:
“While I was at work tonight, I got a call that someone very close to me died of covid. And as I logged on to this platform tonight, I noticed multiple disgusting tweets tagging me to make jokes about me when I had the virus early this year. FU*K you.”
The tweet has since been deleted. Stay tuned for updates.
