The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE and AEW will both have people at the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, AL on January 26.
WWE reportedly sent reps to players and coaches telling them that if they decide not to move forward with football to give them a call, because WWE is interested in athletes of that caliber.
AEW President Tony Khan is also set to be at the event, but Khan will be there more to scout for football over wrestling.
Khalen Saunders, who is a 6-foot 320-pound defensive tackle from Western Illinois University, is the athlete that everyone has their eyes on.
Saunders is said to have Ricochet like agility, and there’s a lot of interest in him due to his athleticism. His personality is also said to be a factor.
