The WWE Draft kicked off on Friday Night SmackDown last week and it continued on Monday’s episode of Raw. Throughout the course of the draft fans saw several teams get split up, and it looks like another team was also on the chopping block.
PWInsider reports that WWE gave some serious consideration to the idea of splitting up The Street Profits. The idea was that Montez Ford would head to the Monday Night Raw brand with Bianca Belair, and Angelo Dawkins would work as a singles star on SmackDown.
In the end WWE nixed the idea and it was decided that former RETRIBUTION members T-Bar and Mace would get split up in the draft instead.
In addition to T-Bar and Mace, WWE also split up former Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya & Tamina and the team of Shotzi Blackheart & Tegan Nox. The full list of moves made in the 2021 draft can be seen below.
