WWE Adds Another City To Banned Words List

When you watch WWE programming you certainly notice that there’s a lot of talking during any given broadcast, but there are certain words that WWE talents just can’t say.

It looks like another word has been added to the list as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE announcers were not allowed to say “Ontario” during the October 15 episode of SmackDown from Ontario, CA. The announcers instead had to just say “Southern California.”

This isn’t the first city to make the banned words list as it was reported back in September that the word “Raleigh” was banned because WWE officials don’t feel that Raleigh, North Carolina “sounds prestigious enough.”
