WWE Adding A New Award To The WWE Hall Of Fame?

It looks like WWE may be adding a new award to this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony called the “Legacy Award.” WWE is selling Hall of Fame t-shirts that advertise the award at the bottom. The graphic which focuses on the “Legacy Award” shows photos of Ed “Strangler” Lewis, Frank Gotch, George Hackenschmidt, Lou Thesz, Mildred Burke, Pat O’Connor, and “Sailor” Art Thomas.

The award looks to be similar to the “Warrior Award” as it appears separate from the rest of the 2016 Hall of Fame Class. It’s been speculated that the award could be a way to honor names of the past who paved the way for professional wrestling to become what it is now.
