It’s been an interesting year for the Raw commentary team, as the red brand as seen several changes when it comes to the voices at the announce booth.
Vic Joseph, Dio Maddin and Jerry Lawler officially became the Raw commentary team during the WWE Draft back in October, and Samoa Joe took Maddin’s spot after he was written off TV following an attack at the hands of Brock Lesnar.
Samoa Joe has been receiving positive reviews for his work at the commentary table, but he returned to WWE storylines this week on Raw.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE will be adding a new member to the commentary team during the 12/30 episode, as the 12/23 episode was Joe’s last show as a commentator.
There’s no word currently on who might be replacing Samoa Joe.
