Goldberg left WWE in 2004 after his final match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 20. He defeated Lesnar but the match was controversial due to the crowd reaction. The fans knew both Goldberg and Lesnar were leaving WWE after the match, so the audience roasted them pretty much the whole time.
Over the years there’s been a lot of bad blood between WWE and Goldberg, but it appears that they’ve smoothed things over because Bill will be wrestling one more match against Lesnar, and the match is expected to go down at Survivor Series.
