There’s no doubt at all that the independent wrestling scene has had a huge impact on WWE over the last couple of years. Some of the top independent stars from all over the world are currently working in WWE and you can see the influence on the in ring style week in and week out.
Wrestletalk TV has released a pretty interesting mini-documentary that looks at how independent wrestling has effected WWE, but also how WWE is effecting independent wrestling. It goes into a lot of speculation about what the future of NXT could mean for independent brands all over the world and it’s a pretty good watch, well worth 4 minutes of your time.
