Wrestling definitely isn’t ballet, as injuries unfortunately happen far too often inside of the squared circle. Wrestling can be dangerous, and it only becomes more dangerous when you introduce weapons into the mix.
Angle o Demonio recently faced Cuervo in a match at a Lucha Memes/Lucha Libre Boom event which aired on +LuchaTV, and during the match Demonio picked up a brick and threw it out of the ring directly into Cuervo’s head.
After the brick connected, Cuervo was knocked out and later helped to the back. The brutal spot can be seen in the video below at the 4:35 mark.
RobViper noted that Angel o Demonio indicated on Facebook that the brick spot was meant to be a receipt for hard chair shots Cuervo hit him with earlier in the match, and that Cuervo was hospitalized.
This was nasty. Announcers laughed about it for some reason.
