Ronda Rousey has been part of the WWE roster for a few years now and in that time she’s faced some big opponents at WrestleMania. Rousey dropped the SmackDown Women’s Title to Charlotte Flair back in December and it looks like she’ll be moving into the women’s tag team division.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler vs. Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles is currently locked in for WrestleMania 39.
Last month during a livestream Rousey teased that she would be going after the tag titles when she said, “When am I gonna kick Charlotte’s butt and get the title back? I don’t know, guys. I’m kind of tired of Charlotte. I’m tired of that title; I already did it, you know? I’m thinking of taking over the tag division.”
WrestleMania 39 will air live from SoFi Stadium on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2. Stay tuned for more updates on the show as they become available.
