It was recently reported that Goldberg has been added to the go-home show and the Raw after Fastlane, and the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter corroborates that report. It was also noted that fans will be seeing a lot more of Brock Lesnar leading up to WrestleMania as he has been booked to appear at every Raw broadcast until the April 2nd event in Orlando.
It was noted that although Lesnar was called in to work Raw last week, he was only used in a dark match segment, which we had also previously reported. Lesnar is scheduled to face Goldberg at WrestleMania and Goldberg is expected to win the Universal Title at Fastlane, therefore only time will tell if we might see a much more active champion in Lesnar if he takes the belt from Goldberg at Mania. Anything would be better than his last run with the WWE Title seeing that he was the ultimate part-timer during that period.
It looks like the current plans still call for AJ Styles to face Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 33. Shane has been booked for the March 13th house show at Madison Square Garden and AJ Styles is also booked for the show to make a special appearance, although he isn’t booked to have a match.
