Last night on WWE’s flagship Monday night show, The Club demolished everybody using a ladder. Some thought this tactic was used because they were in Philly, the home of ECW. Therefore, a hardcore toy was justifiable. We actually speculated they could be hinting at a ladder match at WrestleMania. As it would turn out, we were correct in our assumptions.
WWE just announced the triple threat match for the Raw Tag Team Championships between The Club, Sheamus and Cesaro, and Enzo and Big Cass is now a ladder match. This certainly adds a bit more interest to the match to say the least.
Of course, the ladder match for the Raw Tag Team Championships won’t be the only tag team ladder match during WrestleMania weekend. The Hardys are taking on The Young Bucks in a ladder match for the ROH Tag Team Titles at Ring Of Honor’s Supercard Of Honor XI event.
Sheamus was busted open the hard way during the beat down from The Club last night therefore it might not be the only time he bleeds this week. Ladder matches can get pretty brutal, and the thought of Enzo taking a super high spot off a ladder makes us wince just imagining it.
So, WrestleMania is taking even more shape as the event looms ever closer. Who do you think will walk out of the Show Of Shows now that there is a new stipulation to the Raw Tag Team Title Match? If you say the Broken Hardys, then you’re funny.
One thing is for sure these six guys will be pulling out all the stops in this match. There are four men who are rather large, Cesaro is of somewhat average size, but Enzo makes a great lawn dart. We’ll just have to tune in on April 2nd to see what they have in store for us!
