WrestleMania 36 has come and gone, and this year the Show of Shows was moved from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It was originally announced that WrestleMania 37 would take place from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA on March 28, 2021 but now it seems that the event is in doubt.
The LA Times is reporting that large gatherings in the Los Angeles area may be held off for an entire year.
Mayor Eric Garcetti reportedly indicated during his weekly briefing that “large gatherings such as concerts and sporting events may not be approved in the city for at least 1 year.”
A spokesman for Garcetti confirmed his comments saying, “The mayor was generally referencing studies of current and historical data and best practices for safely reopening our economy.”
There’s currently no timeline for Los Angeles to start holding large gatherings once again.
