WrestleMania 36 has been a very hot topic over the last few weeks as there’s been concern regarding the status of the event due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It’s been rumored that WWE officials have been considering holding WrestleMania 36 from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, and now it looks like that’s what WWE will be doing.
WWE issued the following statement:
“In coordination with local partners and government officials, WrestleMania and all related events in Tampa Bay will not take place. However, WrestleMania will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view. Only essential personnel will be on the closed set at WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida to produce WrestleMania.”
WWE has yet to issue official statements on locations for other WrestleMania week events such as the Hall of Fame ceremony and NXT TakeOver, but it’s expected that all events will take place from the Performance Center for the foreseeable future.
