WrestleMania 34 Main Event Revealed

It’s no secret Brock Lesnar vs Bill Goldberg is scheduled to cap off WrestleMania this year but according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE already has WrestleMania 34’s main event locked in place at this juncture. It’s being reported that WWE officials are planning for Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns to headline WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans.

It is unknown if Brock is going to hold the Universal Title for the entire year in between Manias, but the plan is at least for The Beast Incarnate to hold the top Raw belt by the Show Of Shows next year and most likely drop it to Roman Reigns.

WWE will most likely keep the Universal Title away from Roman for the next year and only tease it while he chases the strap. But, WWE is planning on using Brock Lesnar in a bigger way for the next year as he is going to appear on just about every Raw. Brock Lesnar is never going to be totally full time, but his presence will certainly be bigger for the rest of 2017 and the months in 2018 leading to the Grandaddy Of Them All.

The difficulty of this long-term booking will be keeping Roman and Brock separate from each other for the next year. As a result, we can only assume Brock Lesnar will be presented with several challengers who will just be placeholders as fresh opponents to keep The Beast Incarnate busy until WrestleMania 34.

Having Roman defeat Lesnar at WrestleMania 34 would be the finish WWE had planned for WrestleMania 31, but they changed the finish due to negative fan reaction to The Big Dog. The idea is for Roman Reigns to completely replace John Cena as the top babyface of the company.

It’s official folks, Roman Reigns is going to face The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33. According to Roman Reigns he’s going to be the man that retires The Undertaker and we’re talking about whether or not it should happen on this week’s episode of Still Real Radio.
