Last year the women of WWE made history when they competed in the first ever women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
There was a lot of hype leading up to the match, but the ending was viewed as controversial because James Ellsworth grabbed the briefcase and handed it to Carmella.
However, luck turned out to be on Carmella’s side, because she later went on to cash in the briefcase and defeat Charlotte Flair to become SmackDown Women’s Champion.
On Sunday night Alexa Bliss, Ember Moon, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Lana, Naomi, Natalya and Sasha Banks stepped into the ring to compete for the Money in the Bank contract.
The end of the match came when Becky Lynch climbed the ladder and started to unhook the briefcase, but Alexa Bliss pushed the ladder over and Becky fell off.
Alexa then grabbed the briefcase and unhooked it to win the match.
