It was confirmed this week on Raw that after Bayley pinned the Women’s Champion last week in a six-person tag match, she would be granted a rematch with the championship on the line.
Raw emanates from Las Vegas, Nevada next week and it seems that WWE knows they need to step up their game since Brock Lesnar is unable to appear in that state. That means that the women could main event Raw again for the second time in as many months with the Women’s Championship on the line.
Bayley was defeated by Charlotte at The Royal Rumble just 10 days ago, so this will be her best chance at retribution. The odds look to be in Bayley’s favor as well, given the number of times Charlotte had dropped the title on Raw.
Many of the WWE Universe thought that this match would take place at Fastlane in three weeks time, instead, WWE has decided to depend on the women next week since The Beast cannot be in attendance.
The women have proved how much they can step up their game over the past year and it seems that this time it’s Bayley’s turn to prove that she has what it takes to be in the picture with someone like Charlotte. It could be a history making match for Bayley if she lifts her first Women’s Championship and first title on the main roster in just six days time.
