In a few weeks NXT will be going live on the USA Network on Wednesday nights, and eventually the show will go head to head with AEW when AEW debuts on TNT.
Chris Jericho is set to compete in the first AEW World Title match when he faces “Hangman” Adam Page, and ever since he joined AEW he’s been insisting that people thank him while he takes credit for the company’s success.
Now it appears that Jericho is taking a similar approach with NXT as he recently posted a tweet saying, “Oh by the way… @WWENXT on @USA_Network? #YoureWelcome #IndustryChanger”
William Regal then responded to Chris Jericho’s tweet with the following:
“Yes,thank you Chris. From us both being on NXT in 2010 until today, being a mentor, announcer and GM, NXT has given huge oppurtunities for many talent who would never of got a chance before, to be real game changers. And it’s all down to you.Thank you so much”
