Why WWE Turned Braun Strowman And Elias Face

This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw was an emotional episode, as it kicked off with Roman Reigns announcing he’s taking time off to battle leukemia.

The show also closed with Dean Ambrose turning on Seth Rollins after they won the Raw Tag Team Titles, and it featured some interesting moments in between.

During Raw, Braun Strowman was working as a face, and Elias made a face turn when he hit acting General Manager Baron Corbin with his guitar.

CageSideSeats notes that Braun and Elias were turned face because Roman Reigns is taking time off, and WWE made the decision to turn Ambrose heel.

Prior to his heel turn back in August, Braun Strowman seemed to be getting a great response from the fans while working as a face.

Elias always gets a strong reaction, and he also got a pretty big pop when he hit Corbin with the guitar.

Are you looking forward to seeing where Braun and Elias go from here? Sound off in the comments below.
