Last week WWE announced that TJP, Hideo Itami and Tye Dillinger had all been released from their contracts, and prior to the official announcement Dillinger publicly announced that he had requested to be released.
The fact that Dillinger publicly announced that he was trying to part ways with the company was interesting to say the least, and with the current landscape in professional wrestling changing by the week, it’s been reported that WWE is trying to lock down talents to longer contracts.
However, WWE granted Dillinger’s request despite not granting the same request to others who have also asked.
Rajah is reporting that the consensus seems to be that WWE didn’t consider Dillinger a “make or break” guy and that the company granted his request because he was generally thought of as dispensable.
What do you think Tye Dillinger should do next? Sound off in the comments below.
