EC3 was moved up to the main roster months ago, but the call-up hasn’t exactly been working out for him so far.
The former Impact World Champion has only been feature on TV sparingly, and it doesn’t seem that there are any solid plans for him moving forward.
A few weeks ago WWE tested out a possible manager for EC3 when they put him with Drake Maverick, and Luke Harper was used as the opponent for the match. The agents who put the match together apparently set up a bunch of manager spots.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vince McMahon watched the match and hated the manager spots.
Vince later said that the match was bad, and it was reportedly one of the reasons why Luke Harper wasn’t put on a specific brand during the WWE Superstar Shake-Up.
EC3 previously worked with Drake Maverick in Impact Wrestling when Maverick was known as Rockstar Spud, but it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing the duo on WWE programming any time soon.
