There’s only one pay-per-view left on WWE’s schedule for 2021 and it’s Survivor Series. The pay-per-view is only a few weeks away, but as of this writing WWE has barely promoted the show.
Currently there are no matches booked for the annual Survivor Series pay-per-view, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE didn’t put Survivor Series at the forefront because the company felt the need to push Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
“I was told the mentality behind not having promoted it at all is that they felt they pushed Crown Jewel as hard as they could and the most important thing now is to get over new feuds with the new rosters and let the new rosters settle in on television, and then push Survivor Series the final weeks.”
Crown Jewel has come and gone, and the new Raw and SmackDown rosters are settling in following the recent WWE Draft. It’s been confirmed that Survivor Series will once again be a Raw vs. SmackDown pay-per-view, and even though no matches have been announced so far it’s expected that Universal Champion Roman Reigns will be facing WWE Champion Big E in a non-title match.
