Last week R-Truth shocked the world when he took to social media to announce that he had been released from WWE. It was later reported that the company was set to let his deal expire, and fans openly objected to Truth’s WWE departure throughout the week.
Im sorry to inform you all. I just got released from WWE. I want to thank WWE for the ride, but MOSTLY I want to thank each and EVERYONE OF YOU who was along for the ride, Thank you for all the love, support, and appreciation you have given me over the years. Thank you

On Saturday night R-Truth made his big return to WWE at Money in the Bank when he attacked John Cena during the main event which allowed Cody Rhodes to pick up the win for his team. Following the show WWE started promoting R-Truth merchandise on social media and fans quickly noticed that he was being referred to as Ron Killings.
According to F4Wonline.com, R-Truth asked for his name to be changed to his real name, Ron Killings as part of his new deal with the company. The idea is that when his new deal expires he will have appeared on WWE TV under the name Ron Killings, and will be able to go straight into using that name on the independent circuit, and for appearances when his deal is up.
R-Truth’s son indicated on social media that his father has signed a new deal that will allow him to have one final run with WWE, and you can get more details on how Truth’s new contract came together here.
