Why There Were No Women’s Matches At WWE Live Events This Weekend

Fans who went to WWE live events this weekend noticed that there were no women’s matches on the cards, and fans who attended the live event in Peoria, IL seemed less than thrilled about the fact that they didn’t get to see the women’s division in action.

Dave Meltzer speculated on Wrestling Observer Radio that the women of WWE were in Florida working out the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match spot for spot, which hopefully means that the match will exceed expectations.

Meltzer also noted that Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax have been working on their Raw Women’s Championship match which is set to take place tonight.

It’s been rumored that Ronda Rousey vs. Nia Jax will be a short match.
