There’s certainly no shortage of WWE pay-per-views on the yearly schedule, and over the last few years the events seem to have gotten longer.
The WWE TLC pay-per-view recently aired on the WWE Network, but it was one of the shorter pay-per-views, ending shortly after 10 PM.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, one of the reasons why the show was so short was because of complaints that WWE pay-per-views have been going too long.
The company also held off on several matches including Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens, Bayley vs. Lacey Evans and Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles, which was moved to Raw the next night.
Braun Strowman vs. Shinsuke Nakamura was also pulled from the show because Strowman wasn’t medically cleared.
