Monday Night Raw kicked off with a big Falls Count Anywhere Match which ended after Braun Strowman sent Bobby Lashley crashing through the stage.
After they broke through the LED board, explosions went off and sparks flew everywhere, then Strwoman and Lashley were stretchered out of the arena.
Dave Meltzer pointed out on Wrestling Observer Radio that the word “hospital” was banned, but it was referenced twice on Raw this week, which was WWE’s way of trying to make the angle look real.
It was also noted the word “hospital” was banned from WWE programming because of Vince McMahon. The idea is that announcers are supposed to say “medical facility” instead of “hospital” so fans don’t call local hospitals to check up on wrestlers.
It remains to be seen if WWE broadcasters will be using the word more in the future, so we’ll have to stay tuned.
