Why The Undertaker Didn’t Appear On The First Episode Of SmackDown On FOX

On Friday night SmackDown made the move to FOX, and some big names were in the house for the event such as The Rock, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan and many more.

One name fans didn’t get to see on the show is The Undertaker. At one point The Deadman was thought of as a SmackDown guy, and he’s had his fair share of big moments with the blue brand.

Taker acknowledged the show by posting a photo of himself in a SmackDown ring on Instagram, and a fan commented on the photo saying that Taker should have closed the show.

The Undertaker responded to the comment when he posted the following reply: “I was told I wasn’t needed.”

The Undertaker last appeared on SmackDown on the September 10th episode which took place from Madison Square Garden.
