When the Kabuki Warriors first arrived on the WWE main roster they were introduced by their manager, Paige.
The Kabuki Warriors managed to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles a few weeks ago, and this week they appeared on Raw alongside Paige who cut a promo praising the team.
However, the mood quickly shifted as The Kabuki Warriors turned on Paige when Asuka spit green mist in her face.
Luckily for Paige, Becky Lynch came out to make the save before things got worse.
Dave Melter noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the segment was done as a way to get more heel heat for The Kabuki Warriors.
He added that Asuka & Kairi Sane have been getting cheered at every house show, and they were even cheered when they went up against The IIconics in Australia.
At this point in time it’s not clear what Paige will be doing next, but there’s speculation that she could end up managing a different team.
