When WWE first relaunched the cruiserweight division a few years ago, the stars of the division appeared on Raw on a weekly basis.
But the cruiserweights eventually became much less involved with the Raw bran when 205 Live launched, and now they’ve disappeared from Raw completely.
PWInsider is reporting that the decision to keep 205 Live stars off of Raw is a decision that was made by Triple H when he took over as the new showrunner of the cruiserweight brand.
The idea is to keep the 205 Live talents in a position where they’re protected, and to also make sure that they’re not over exposed in an effort to change the perception of the cruiserweight division.
Since Triple H took over the cruiserweight division, 205 Live has focused more on in-ring action as opposed to characters and storylines.
