Samantha Irvin has been with WWE since 2021 and since then her voice has set the stage for some of WWE’s biggest matches. Ahead of Raw on Monday, Samantha Irvin shocked the world when she issued a statement announcing that she would no longer be working as a ring announcer for WWE moving forward.
Recently on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez reported that Irvin has outside projects she wants to work on when he said, “She’s got some outside projects she wants to do, apparently couldn’t come to terms with how it worked in WWE.”
Dave Meltzer went on to add that the WWE departure was something that Samantha Irvin has been considering for about a year now, and that she will be looking to get more involved with music which is her passion.
“She’s been thinking about it (WWE exit) for about a year. She wants to be a singer, she is a singer, she also plays the flute. She wants to get more involved with her music, it’s something she’s been talking about for a long, long time and finally pulled the trigger on it.
“It’s not like a plan to go to AEW, not saying 100% that she won’t go. Ricochet actually tweeted that she’s not going and that wasn’t her intention to go there.”
With Samantha Irvin now moving on from WWE the company brought back Lilian Garcia this week on Monday Night Raw, and it’s expected that she will be with the company full-time following her return.
