On Sunday the stars of WWE will clash at the annual Extreme Rules pay-per-view, and Bayley will be defending her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross in a 2-on-1 handicap match.
Alexa Bliss missed the recent TV tapings because she’s dealing with an illness, and Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Nikki Cross was added to the match because Bliss is dealing with a really bad sinus infection.
Originally Nikki Cross was not supposed to be part of the match, but plans changed due to Alexa’s illness.
