Kevin Owens recently faced Sami Zayn at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, and after Owens lost the match he took to Twitter to declare that he would be taking time off from WWE.
Despite the fact that Kevin Owens told the world he would be taking time off, it was announced that he will be in action on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Kevin Owens asked to take time away, and he asked for just under two weeks off.
Owens will face Sami Zayn in a Last Man Standing match on Friday Night SmackDown this week. The winner will earn a spot in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Stay tuned for updates.
