This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was a massive show as John Cena made his first appearance on WWE programming following his heel turn at Elimination Chamber. The show also featured a Jey Uso vs. Austin Theory match that ended in less than one minute after Jey completely squashed Theory.
During a recent episode of Live Q&A on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, WrestleVotes talked about the original plans for the Jey Uso vs. Austin Theory match, and it was noted that the match was spaced out for 11 minutes before plans changed.
“This match was spaced out for 11 minutes last night… I don’t know if Cena drawing out the opening of the show affected it. I know it affected other things on (WWE Raw), save for this match. But I can tell you that it was spaced out for 11 minutes.”
One way or another Jey Uso will have to face off against Austin Theory & Grayson Waller next week when he teams up with a mystery partner on Raw in Glasgow, Scotland.
