Jeff Hardy has been lucky to have a long wrestling career, and the Swanton Bombs has become one of the most well known finishers in the wrestling industry. But Hardy hasn’t been using the Swanton Bomb at live events as of late, and fans have noticed.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jeff Hardy is still working through injuries, and WWE has been protecting him by booking him in short four way matches at live events, which is likely why he hasn’t been doing the Swanton Bomb.
Hardy has been seen limping due to a leg injury he suffered during his entrance at the 5/17 SmackDown Live tapings, and he’s also been dealing with nerve damage that has caused numbness in his fingers.
As we saw on SmackDown Live this week, Jeff Hardy defended his US Title against Eric Young and then teamed up with The Usos to take on SAnitY in a six man tag team match.
Hardy picked up the win for his team by using the Swanton Bomb, so it will be interesting to see how often he uses the move at live events going forward.
