Hulk Hogan is one of the biggest professional wrestling stars of all time, and he spent many years as a top star in WWE, as well as WCW.
All Elite Wrestling has signed a few legends since the company was first announced, but one name fans shouldn’t expect to see in AEW is Hulk Hogan.
Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife Linda recently posted a tweet saying, “Watching the looting. It’s all Afro Americans, not sure how robbing and stealing set the record straight but if they want to be heard they need to be civilized.”
AEW President Tony Khan then followed up with a tweet confirming that Hulk Hogan, and Linda Hogan are both banned from the company.
The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter includes a quote from Tony Khan where he elaborates on his reasons for banning Hogan.
“What he said on the tape, long before George Floyd, I’ve told people I can’t work with Hulk Hogan. How can I look my Black friends, football players, employees in the face or myself in the mirror after the things he said and has never given an adequate apology for. He can’t blame what he said on tape on the dangers of social media.
