This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from Kansas City, MO and it was an interesting show to say the least. A number of big names were featured on the show, but current WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk was absent.
PWInsider is reporting that CM Punk was not at Raw this week because he’s filming the romantic comedy The Bodyguard for Netflix. According to the report CM Punk was always scheduled to miss the first two episodes of Raw in December due to the shoot.
Despite the fact that CM Punk didn’t appear on the show his ongoing feud with Bron Breakker was still a focal point. After Logan Paul defeated LA Knight in the main event Bron Breakker got on the mic and begged CM Punk to bring the old version of himself when they face off for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the January 5th episode of Raw.
CM Punk is currently being advertised for next week’s episode of Raw at the Giant Center in Hershey, PA, so we’ll have to wait and see how The Second City Saint responds to Bron Breakker when he returns.
