Chris Jericho was originally scheduled to face Hideo Itami at July 4 WWE live event in Tokyo but Itami has been pulled from the event due to injury.
When Itami was pulled from the event Jericho then requested that his opponent be Finn Balor. Jericho reportedly wants to work a match that will be special for the Japanese crowd.
