Brock Lesnar finally dropped his Universal Championship to Roman Reigns Sunday night at SummerSlam, and now his reign is over.
Originally the Barclays summer had been advertising Brock for this week’s episode, but he was nowhere to be seen when Raw aired.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the reason why Brock didn’t appear on Raw this week was because no one could come up with an idea for him that made sense.
Brock’s contract reportedly expires in a few days, and the idea was that it didn’t make sense to do a big angle with Lesnar when there’s currently not known when he might return.
For now Brock is focused on UFC, but the door is said to be open for him to return to WWE when he’s ready.
